Ariadne raw honey is mainly from orange blossom, hence its vivid yellow golden color. However since we can not control our bees’ natural selection and pollination, traces of sage, lavender and various other Mediterranean herbs have been found. This makes Ariadne raw honey even more unique. It has a creamy and buttery texture, a zesty flavor and a delicate aroma.The carob provides a strong chocolatey aftertaste that lingers in your pallet.

I was intrigued by the carob and I had to try this one after learning that carob is a brown floury powder extracted from the carob bean, used as a substitute for chocolate. I’m glad I did and I have to say this is one of my favorites, probably because of the slightly bitter tones. I would recommend this to anyone interested in tasting a rich, creamy, interesting and sophisticated honey.

A very original, full-bodied flavor. Carob is a very healthy Mediterranean food and a great alternative to chocolate – with less caffeine and much more calcium than chocolate. I gave it as a gift to my doctor and she loved it.
